Ignore the double post.

Dominichax (or the people how control the Database), normal members cant create a new page in the textures pack zone:

So you cant get points for that.

Here's some Progress I've made in the past two days.

Changelog Nov 20th - Nov 21st 2011

Added the buttons Textures, and Prefabs to the Topbar

Cold has fixed captions not showing up in the create texture page, you will now be able to see what fields are for what.

Cold has also showed me how to create tags for texture sections, they have to be added manually by popular demand.

I added the categories Art, Black Mesa, Metal, Water. If you'd like me to add more please suggest.

Added prefab section, may still be in a wip, I'd like a comment section and hopefully a video section for prefabs. To see the prefab section see here http://mapdb.obsidianconflict.net/prefabs
Added the buttons Add Textures and Add Prefabs to the contribute list, also added Add Prefabs to front page.

Made the page http://mapdb.obsidianconflict.net/prefab-installation, also added it to the help drop down list in the top bar.

Update counter to keep track of prefabs, also fixed a spelling error where it said Map palcs instead of map packs(thanks to Maestro)

Switched the counter's spot with the spot of the Add maps, mappers, textures, prefabs, and map packs to make the site look more neat.
Updated preexisting templates, fixed minor errors such as ending commenting for finished maps.

Created a new more eye friendly affiliate logo (see my signature) .

Implemented an easy to use mappadd download system, which is now in the default template of all new maps, Categorized by the full map download at top and Misc dls such as mapadds below. Click http://mapdb.obsidianconflict.net/map:lobby and click download to see.

There are a lot of various fixes that I honestly forgot about, probably most were just map updates, I did update a few map dl links to match up with the forum dl links.

That's all for now, thanks for reading

SOON.

Good, but it miss a part:

https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Prefab
The Entity tool Mt-entities.png is used to place a prefab object that should retain its original size.

Select the Entity tool Mt-entities.png from the toolbar. (Shortcut: Shift+E)
In the Object bar, select a prefab library in the Categories: selection box.
Select a specific prefab to insert from the library in the Objects: selection box.
Click in one of the 2D views where you want the prefab to be placed. Alternatively you can instead just click in the 3D view, whereupon the prefab will be inserted automatically.
Press Return or ↵ Enter to insert the prefab

And thanks for take some recommendations (and add to the Nerv page the walkthrough that i made :3 ).

Ok so, I haven't been doing much lately, I mean I have, just in terms of adding new things I haven't been. I've been doing regular edits and fixes on a bunch of map and tutorial pages, and just have been adding more tutorials , texture packs. I'm not sure what else to do, I mean sure I could add more top tags but there are no other commonly used tags that come to mind and fit with OC.

but a general idea of the more important stuff I've done the past week, and during this week.

Made Donators List page: http://mapdb.obsidianconflict.net/donators
Updated Donate page and added Donator extra's + info for donating to the database.
Made a how to install prefabs page and linked that to prefabs page
Updated about page to look more clean, also removed all the bad sentence structure: http://mapdb.obsidianconflict.net/help:about
Added button on top of site for tutorials.
Added Oc 1.3.5 hotfix 1 link at top of site

Other than that it's just been content I've been trying to pump through the database, for example the optimization video tutorials and converting vtf's into jpg/png for texture packs.

I've secretly been working on converting the Facepunch mapper's encyclopedia by Terrenteller and the mapping community there for the past 2 months or so. I've omitted dead links, updated links, reworded sentences, retitled a majority of links for easier searching of topics/links, added many other links, and much more. All of the links have been manually added one by one along with the descriptions, my future plan is to make a Pdf version of this encyclopedia, so that if the site ever goes down, this pdf will be ready for anyone looking for resourceful information like this.

The encyclopedia is still under construction in some ways, one subsection is not fully linked, and the encyclopedia will be updated for months to come from me or even requests from the community. Anyways the long wall of text ends here, enjoy.

I have problems with that map as well. On my main pc it crashes my client just after I spawn, however on my other less powerful one it runs fine.
