Do these sites exsist? I mean is there a site where you can download models made by other people. Like if you want to make a map and dont know how to model well you could download custom stuff for your maps and give credit in your readme file to those whose models you are using.

I learnt how to use XSI so I could make models for my maps. Its a really easy modeling program actually.

thanks for the link. Im planning to learn modeling myself, i mean how hard can it be. Drag lines over lines, then shape and mold them to perfection but i learn best by examining other peoples work- more fun than reading a tutorial, so thanks for a great site.

Well modeling is basically shaping squares, cylinders to your desire.

modeling is HARD AS HELL I use 3ds max 7 it is easy to model but a pain in the ass for it to look good.

Use XSI, follow one of those
Create a weapon
tutorials and you'll end up knowing enough to model some pretty complex things.

pfft i'm just waiting for Milkshape 2 to come out you know the one with XSI styled graphics.. Milkshape is so easy to use and to learn.
as for XSi bleh same with 3DS. especially 3ds.

old days I tryed to learn how to use it, but since hl2 its been XSI.
