Misc Ingame
Right now we have ragdolls on the client which means they appear on everyones computer but dont sync with one another by the server. Server side ragdolls are very taxing on the server, you can see this in garrys mod. It is however possible to track a ragdoll and have it switch back to the npc and do a get up animation. But this would also mean we would have to make the ragdolls server side which would be again very taxing.
For a little more info on the subject, when you kill an npc the npc itself is removed and a prop_ragdoll is spawned with the bones in the place of the npc. Velocity is determined from the bullets fired at the npc before it died.

Well not really stole, didn't I say I was working towards one day being able to play through those maps? But we were still a long ways off from doing that. Awesome screenies.
And as for synergy, when i played hls it didnt work well at all... The buttons were all broken. Me and hyper could actually run through most of the maps.
