well .. i've been wondering if there's a way we could play story mod on obsidian .. i did add the maps but there not all togather it's like lil parts i dunno .. anyway hope anyone can help and 1 more thing wat's a good map to play with ur friends and stuff like "spooky n jumpy" ;p ty.

Simplets. Story mod is singleplayer, can't you guys use your brain ?
Go in your obsidian folder , then check the CFG folder. Open the config.cfg one. Add this line -
Code: Select all
bind "[KEYBOARD KEY GOES HERE] changelevel d1_trainstation_01"
As for the fun map you are looking for, you could always download oc_stfu_b1 located in the
Map Releases section.

That's the one part that I did understand. The rest was simply too complex for my brain do decode at the moment.

yes, the rest made no sense.
and why does he need to bind a key to change the map to that in the config file?
What's wrong with console command "changelevel d1_trainstation_01?

because the console doesnt work via steam advanced options (will you fix that, skidz !?) and the generic player doesnt want to bother making a shortcut and adding stuff, "it takes too much time".
Adding the command in the configs works like a charm too.

It's a valve problem, they have acknowledged it.

Worked for me trought advanced options.
Now if it doesnt work for you:
Go in your obsidian config.cfg and add a line:
bind ' "toggleconsole"
here you go.
