Clipping npcs with func_brush

Post by fug4life »

I've noticed 3 times now, I think I've been having trouble with npc's and clipping them with func_brush. Each time I've tried to revert so that only the named npc is blocked and all other npc's are supposed to be able to pass through. It dosen't work I've used both clip_player and clip_npc I see that valve say it's an episode one feature I think. But I'm also having trouble getting the brushes to enable disable. I'll go back and re rig the enable/disable of the brushes.

Just wondered If anyone else came across this?

I nolonger think it's clipping that's the problem.
I've been battling with this for some time now and believe that Big Momma and a couple other monsters really dont like being moved upwards on a func_tracktrain platform? Has anyone else had trouble?

Having said this I now have a bigger problem I had a decal on a particular shape brush, I have now sawpped that brush for a different shape brush but my decal is fragmented into the shape of the old brush, and even if I delete it stays?

Any Idea?
