With these 1.3 player models...
Does it mean if i made my own skin and hexed it to a playermodel and it was named right, blah, blah, others would see it?

The client would have to upload the model to the server and since most people have crappy,slow upload speed it would just slow everyone down because they have to wait untill the playermodel is uploaded before they can download it.ViralHatred wrote:So why not make it so custom skins/models are downloaded at the start of a map and/or map change, anyone who joins past that stage is automatically defaulted to a preset skin?

maybe the model can be compresed and the client send the model slowly to the other players and when it finished the model receiber clients load the model...
