OC Dedicated is in syn???

Ive noticed that the syn dedicated server tool has the option to host for OC...

This is really strange because not only is OC in rivalry with syn, but as far as I knew VALVe knew pretty much nothing about OC at the time.

I only bought this up because i can't go 5 minutes without someone who hasnt heard of OC trying to join my server through friends on syn when im hosting for OC, then they bug me saying ther game is screwed and I usually end up closing the dedi server to shut them up.

I doubt anyone can do anything about this, and im not blaming anyone, but does anyone know anything about this?

I had to edit this twice cause the filter turns syn... into Greenland...

It just lists all installed sourcemods, so its nothing the syn team added, the "syn dedicated server" is just a edited version of the source dedicated server to use the sourcemods dir.

Yeah, and valve is pretty aware of OC's presence. Skidz and hyper were invited to valve hq a few years ago if i remember correctly.

Ah, now I understand why it's there, but never knew that much bout the relationship between Valve+OC

if only they had named it "Sourcemod Dedicated Server Tool" or something...

That sounds weird.
Syn is crap anyways. It's really just HL2DM Coop with HL2 maps.
Anyways, I imagine Valve would know about OC since I heard that OC originated on the Love Tub.
