Missing file or what?

I'm new to this and really want to play, But, when i try to get on it says "Unable to load file surface" something.. I keep trying and it keeps closing. Any suggestions?

When you were installing Obsidian Conflict, did you have all those boxes checked off during the installation at one point? W0rf0x should be able to help you with that.

I don't beleive i mounted anything, seeing as it won't even let me open up the game without the error.

Make sure you ran hl2 and source sdk base: orange box at least once.

If that doesnt work: post a screenshot of that error and of your steam games list.

It did not work. The error isn't showing, but i get a "Ding" and the game closes.

Oh and you, I beleive you're the one who got me to download this. I watched a video onyoutube with that same anime picture and a download link.

Oh, wow. You serious? I didn't know people started playing OC because of that crappy video, but wow. I really want it to start working for you now, I told W0rf0x you're still having this issue.

Well i need the complete error message or i cant help you.
You could try re-downloading oc and installing it again, could have been that a file got corrupted, make sure to select "install client only" and when your running on windows vista or 7, you could also try running the installer as administrator (right click.)
