Quick (possibly dumb)Question

Some of my friends are playing this game, and they wanted me to come play it. They all have Half Life 2, but I don't. However, I do have Team Fortress 2 (which means the SDK).

I am wondering, can I still download the game and play w/o HL2?

You bump a thread that is barely 5 minutes old, what the frak.
Have some patience this is a forum and not live support..

And as long as you have "source sdk base orange box" in your tools tab, it will work..

Yeah, it's pointless to bump it if your topic is not even a few hours old. I could maybe understand it if it was a couple days/weeks.
