Ive made a cooperative puzzle for my map:
(I dont know why props turned out black on the screen)
The nodraw box on the right is a valve wheel to be turned by one player.
There are 2 steam flows in the crouch tunnel on the left.By deafult first is activated and second one is deactivated. When one player turns the wheel those env_steam's (and trigger_hurt's) turn on (off).
Only 1 player can fit inside the area between steamflows so only 1 player can come along this tunnel at a time.

John Freeman looked at the ground and found a WEPON! So he picked it up and fired it at zombie goasts... in front of a house.

When I moved away from Gmod, I left behind a couple of maps that I'm not interested in working on anymore, since I can't think of a way to make them into coop OC maps. In particular, this is true of Planetfall v2. I spent a very long time working on it (somewhere in the region of 2 years), so I don't really want it to just sit on my harddrive forever. I'd be happy for anyone to use it/parts of it/finish it or whatever, but it's a fairly large .vmf, so I'd rather not upload it without reason. Here's the original forum post:

Not bad, I understand how you feel, its difficult to admit the map has no future, I feel like I'm working on one at the moment, just can't stop myself.

Prey Alarm
(Originally made for my oc_c-fortress map, which ive now given to Axel)
Its basically rotating alarm that has 4 layers giving it 3D:ish holographic feel (+ it has sounds, the func_rotating is the one emitting the sound iirc)

The file includes all textures, models and sounds used in the map. It has NOT been adjusted from Gmod, so there are a few entities lying around which will be invalid (mainly a few lua entities). I can't remember now if the lifts or anything important ran on lua. Feel free to use/edit any amount of any part of the map, including the whole thing if you want, so long as you give me credit.
Oh, almost forgot - many textures are from cncr04 (all are freely available for download), some from few other free packs, all remaining custom textures are made by me. The trees are from several different packs, used with authors permissions, sounds were made by me, models were made either by me or Dlaor (specifically for this map). In other words, there's lots of stuff from other people, but all used with their permission and freely redistributable if credit is given.

This little prefab will be useful for mini-game maps or others where players change battle arena's from one location to another (normally swapping theme too). Before they would be stuck with the single skybox for all locations but now with this model in the 3D skybox they can toggle between 6 skyboxes (5 in the model and one for the normal map). Example map file provided.

Interesting, so it's basically 6 spherical models set to use specific skybox textures?
