realize that this is not an actual remake. like word for word. I'm still a noob (at this advanced crap)and a friend had to help me (as in do it for me ) with some logic timers.
There will be music. I chose what I think is a very approriate song.
This is going to be beta ONE.
expect a release this weekend
Also, The reason that an X is in the extension. it's cuz I can. My maps will always be unique. even down to the letter. :D
despite the fact that this si a remake....shut up I know I just contradicted myself.

yeh, i also tought the oc_ and other map names were sacred and represented diffrent game modes of the mod. Easyest example is de_dust(defusal_dust) dm_d1m3(deathmatch_),tdm_(teamdeathmatch)
so if oc will have diffrent game modes it also would have diffrent prequels at map names. Ocx seems strange...

Atleast your hammer works, mine when i make a box with a few entity's in it doesn't let me copy or move the lot, and the textures picture just shows up as a black screen.

I just zoom around by pressing z and then making it act like spectator mode for UT2k4

(wasd)

anywho quick update.
I lowered the spawn times because there were too many. I lowered them to much. so I'm thinking of leaving the spawn times as they are (extremely large in difference) and then just leaving the map as is
OR:
I could leave the spawn times as is and give you guys a three or four antlions who are uber powerful (like...1000 health?)
what do you all say?
thank god for modifying texts. jeez this compile time for this map i between 2 and 3 hours. And i've compiled TWICE!
anywho elmme know I won't release it until I get some feedback about this.
OH and I am dropping the x from the name.

is anyone here able to help me get the antlion health up?
I tried using the modify txt file but it didn't seemt o work. in fact they went down quicker. I tried to set it to 1500. they came out with 200

isnt there a way to set the health of npcs/monsters in the properties ?
pretty sure there was a thing like that

Yes there is Custom Health set both npc_antlion and npc_template_maker

yeah but after I compiled the map for a second time, and relized my error. I am NOT about to do another 3 hors comipile.
Maybe tonight. But the text thing would be much easier.

you know what screw it.
This map will be released tomorrow.
I'll compile it tonight before I go to bed. Shutdown my internetz too, so In won' be vulnerable.

You'll have to make it like Joe did in is maps at the start points were as were the player is about to touch the floor a trigger turns cheats on and another trigger sets all the health and relationships ect and then a final trigger witch sets the cheats off.

the problem is with the npc's not weapons. the weapons work just fine.
