New Animations for OICW

Post by siNister »

I got bored one day and wanted to make a new animation for something. So i did.
I made some new animations for the OICW as the title suggests. Im pretty content with the way it turned out. It surely isnt my best work though :V
Also i added some spiffy new sounds.
(Fire sound taken from Jamm's Weapon Sound Pack for STALKER ShoC and the reload sound is pieced together from various other reloads from that same sound pack)

Anyway here's the video of it:

And this is the download link:

Looks fantastic as usual, Sin. I wish I hadn't given up on animating because you're making me quite jealous as to how fast you've developed in it.

Could you use it for the new 1.36/Steam version that Fox made?

Isn't Fox making different anims for the model? I thought he had a video showcasing them.
I usually run from rockets.
Pretty straightforward.

Yes, f0x has his own anims but, on a much better model.

This one uses anims on the old OICW, known to be cut from HL2 in it's final release. This is to ease up a bit the pain of the awaital for the new version of this mod.

But who knows?Maybe these anims can be included with the mod itself.Only God knows.

Honestly, the current OICW is horrible to even look at so I can't wait for a new version and the functionality is just as bad. Those animations are some solid work and a definite improvement, but now it needs an actual worthy model and skin with added usefulness gameplay wise of course.
