dosent 01 mean 2? as in 01 is placed after 1 number making it the second in the row wich means its nr2.

01 is only one, any 0s before a number is
ignored unless it is in decimals (ie 0.01)

01 is zero tens and one unit,
01 could also be 000001 it’s still the same number.

The bit farthest to the right has a value of 1 in decimal. Bits get multiplied by 2 each place to the left.

So binary bit values would be: 128 64 32 16 8 4 2 1.

Two would be 10, since the bit one place to the left has a value of two when its turned on.
