Skinning? Milkshape is a Modeling program, if your looking to skin just use the basic tutorial and use gimp (free art program). But if Milkshape can skin then feel free to use it.

All the modelling programs cost money. If they didn't I would be a master modeller by now.

yeah if your gonna use Milkshape 3d for skinning Hl2 models.
Don't
your going to want to use XSi mod tool which can be obtained for free. use 4.2 don't use 3.5

if you want to keep your milkshape however you can use it for the GldSrc Engine
