The images of the config in tools/options i have done the same as that , whats wrong ? :(

Valve is aware of this little problem and are apparently fixing it.

ooo visual studio express C++ just caught my eye ;D

Its been a while since I last mapped something for OC and I forgot what FGD I have to use :s

There are tree in 1.2

- Obsidian.fgd
- Obsidian_Base.fgd
- Obsidian_HalfLife2.fgd

Only load Obsidian.fgd, the rest will be loaded automatically.

You don't have to touch fgd's anymore,
go to the OC sdk folder read, the read me, all you do is copy the text to your game config.txt that is in your sdk/bin folder

Oh and make sure paths and username/ your email are entered where needed.

Just a note

The path for GameConfig.txt is no longer
D:\Steam\steamapps\[email]\sourcesdk\bin

but
D:\Steam\steamapps\[email]\sourcesdk\bin\orangebox\bin
for orangebox souce engine

and
D:\Steam\steamapps\[email]\sourcesdk\bin\ep1\bin
for Ep1 source engine

who cares about ep1? oc doesn't run on ep1...

the rest is known and also on the wiki page...

I still use ep1 for CS:S map adding, Its still of use for content support.

Something I noticed now I'm on the subject. When I'm working with CS:S I add Obsidian fgd to my CS:S. I seem to get better/more point_teleport options in its properties, than if I were to open the CS:S map in just Obsidian(SVN). Weird?

I made a little app that sets up the Obsidian SDK and optional game mounts in Hammer. I'm just fixing some minor things and then I'll post it. After the setup you can hop into Hammer and get going so it should help out all the new mappers. And it mounts L4D content as well, although its slightly more complicated than all of the other games.

why not just adding it as optional link to the wiki page then? the wiki really doesn't get updated much :(
