This is true. We should have the ep2 campaign be as close to the experience in singleplayer as possible, and if workarounds have to be made keep them concordant with ep2's gameplay.
( The gargantua in ep1 is rather jarring and no doubt puts a lot of people off :? )

Thank you, this is exactly what I mean.

We have a great opportunity ahead to get more people into the mod. The campaigns should have greater priority over custom maps and should also be very loyal to the SP experience.

Syn doesn't seem to want to move into OB engine, we have a slight advantage over 'em.

They move to ob engine too, but we still have the biggest advantage, we didnt destroy the hl2 feeling, so i hope gando doesnt do it with his ep2 mapadds

Indeed, the mapadds should only be used to remove clips, fix scenes if necessary, npc behavior and open doors. Nothing else.

Yes that's me down in the bottom preparing for a last stand, I told the rest of my team to leave me and save themselves, but hickadam my saviour came back down in the elevator, and glalantly fought back the hordes, and thanks to him we got out alive! It felt like a movie seeing him come down jump out, I jumped on the elevator and he just managed to jump on it as it was moving back up, zombies were pursuing us. Damn that was an amazing co-op rescue on hicks part!

Truly epic!

Oh god epic, we need to do this again, it was so much fun! Infact, this was the most fun I've ever had in a coop scenario... EVER! Syn doesn't stand a chance.
