I was awaiting a compile, so I took a quick (very quick as it turned out) jaunt through oc_minimission.
The map is one texture, one height, with two npc types, in a box, with some walls. There. That's the map.
Here's the pictures:
You spawn in a "quaint" completely bland place (i'm gonna go with hallway here) with a bunch of weapons.

Around the corner is a grunt!

Oh! And some more grunts! Wait... didn't I just see that guy? And that guy?

Oooo scary. Too bad it died with two hits from the rpg...

What an ending: (Sorry if I spoiled the ending for people)

Oh, and a complete map overview:

---
So yea. I'm pretty sure you guys can come up with your own feedback, but here's mine:
Good:
- I actually found the combat to be somewhat interesting (though info_nodes would have livened it up ALOT). I mean, there were only two npcs and it wasn't that challenging, but peeking out around the corner to see a bunch of hgrunts and pick them off one by one was enjoyable. (Probably because it was the end of a long day)
Bad:
- SHORT. ZOMG short. I "beat" it in 4 minutes dying once. I only assume I beat it because I ran out of npcs to kill.
- DULL. mat_fullbright 1 for the loose. Also, halls and corridors are fine and all, but try a few stairs. Break up the monotony of one single level.
- BLAND. There's more than one texture available in hammer...
- BORING. Two very oddly paired npc types, with one of them being all the same person. There's other hgrunt models. Also, nodes would have helped.
In short, my reaction is "Meh."

Well, #1 its good your having ago at it and trying out hammer and even better you try for oc mapping with npcs you'll leanr a lot more than making cs maps, though really to release it should have more substance.
So basically what DaMaN said.
Though one tip for you. where you have 'internal' walls either tie the brushes to a func_detail, or raise them so they meet the ceiling and vbsp might actually mix up the visleafs a bit for you.

Oh and lights! like DaMaN said fullbright isn't hot. it dosen't matter how long you convince your self it looks good, it does need lights!
Don't give up and keep learning, there is fun and satisfaction waiting for you.
