The forum now runs on phpBB3. We spent the last few days porting over our design and installing several mods to make sure you people won't miss any beloved features we had on the old board.

This adds a ton of new features to our board like a lot of new BBCodes for your posts and such.
We should also be protected against spambots much better now, but in case the board's own spam protection isn't enough, we will go and install the latest version of Anti-spam ACP which only works on phpBB3 and has great features like stopforumspam.com integration.

All posts and users have been ported over, Shoutbox posts and given thanks are gone, we use a different system for those now so porting them would have been hard/ impossible.

OC Money is gone completely for now because we couldn't find any money mod yet, no idea if we ever bring it back and if we can port the old money data over if we do, but the old database still exists just in case.


A few minor things are still left to do but other than that everything should be done and working as expected. If you find any problems or think something should be changed, post about it in this thread.

Haha, in the end we did upgrade! I welcome everything phpbb3 brings to our forum.

I love the update. That simple. PHPBB3 brings so many advantages against BB2. Especially that forum spam thing combined with the normal filter. That should keep things from getting out of hand.
