pink day started yesterday (for the breast cancer awareness thing) and we could buy pink dye, dohohoho. pink is the new black.

So there was some event in EVE going on with a player (probably someone who works for CCP) who led a pirate faction to try and liberate a solar system. Over 300 players responded to the threat. I love the player interaction and roleplaying aspect that this had, and it's great to know that the game's staff go beyond just developing and moderating the game. I didn't directly take part in the combat for many reasons, but in the end, the leader's capital ship was destroyed within a matter of seconds.
