Re: Random OC screenshots
there was a untexture part? the only thing beside the sign that changed that got my attention was the confusing as hell train schedule there.
or are you refering to the part where there was nothing?

Re: Random OC screenshots
Except the obvious thing that half part of the vehicle is sunk, and that like all the prototype vehicles of before, it "works like a crab" (forward/reward = left/right), i´m near of finish it.
The things that i have to check is how bad looks the wheels (Source engine only supports 4 wheels, so the other 4 are static), and how is their maneuverability (is more big than the placeholder, i hope it can turn well inside of the "garage" part).
Other thing is that i added a camera to the turret, so the gunner will have a better view of the field (instead of looking all from the pod). And as you can see, the pods are nearly invisible (only a bit from inside).

Re: Random OC screenshots
Testing random stuff like always, this time with the render options:
This happens when you forgot check in flags "check for radius spawn". Surprised that the npcs can move at same time, and attack.

While i was testing some experimental stuff, suddenly it started firing ultra-slow rockets:
After 2 minutes, crash for no free ED_allocks

Re: Random OC screenshots
I decided test the bot feature, and well, i have some pics of it:
No more pics because some seconds after the last photo it crashed. Maybe because the bots were acting weird with the soldiers, and when they saw the aliens it made crazy the AI.

Re: Random OC screenshots
Wait, are you telling me that you didn´t knew about the bots? if you are using it all the day!Gary wrote:Since when did we have bots?
Re: Random OC screenshots
I've never used them... so I assume they come with the Src2007 MP code?
Re: Random OC screenshots
I thought the bots were more interesting... all they did was mimic me.
Re: Random OC screenshots
Yeah, they're defined in hl2mp_bot_temp.cpp (in the server project), but you'll need to enable them there and in hl2mp_client.cpp as well. They're fairly handy when you need an instant player count boost for testing purposes; for others there's the alternative - Process Explorer -> hl2.exe -> Closing the 'hl2_singleton_mutex' handle + launching a new instance of the mod.Gary wrote:I've never used them... so I assume they come with the Src2007 MP code?
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.
Please do not make assumptions you are not knowledgeable enough to make - that just backfires on yourself.
Tick me off, and I'll be sure to give you the golden treatment. Haven't you heard? Silence is golden.
