General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
Indeed, most of my score in BF3 is probably from healing and reviving. I generally often notice that doing everything BUT killing people makes your score climb up much faster.
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
Most of my score comes from jets, because i usually spend my time giving air to ground support.... only problem with that is that NO ONE pings enemies in BF3 so im constantly blind unless im playing with a friend who can ping enemies.
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
I've been flying jets a lot more and I can confirm this, so you usually just end up circling around the map until another jet or AA picks you up.

I always spot enemies, and multiple times even if the enemy is already spotted. Guess I'm one of the rare few then.Andrax17 wrote:...only problem with that is that NO ONE pings enemies in BF3 so im constantly blind unless im playing with a friend who can ping enemies.
Apparently, Valve can't make games beyond the number 2.
I think the only time we'll get a Source SDK code update is when it starts having purchasable hats integrated, i.e. hatconomy.
Please do not make assumptions you are not knowledgeable enough to make - that just backfires on yourself.

I abuse my Q-key too, don't know why more people aren't doing it, you'll have an enemy clearly visible on the map and HUD and when someone kills it, you'll get 10 points spot bonus.

Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
I get more points in healing than I do kills, probably because Battlefield is more about doing the menial stuff as opposed straight up LOL KILL EVERYTHING THAT MOVES. But don't tell that to the rushing retards, I need my points.

Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
My CPU is too weak for BF3 (Core 2 Duo E8400), so I have to play on Xbox 360. Spot button is /conveniently/ the select button, so it's harder to spot all the time. If I switch to a Razer Onza controller, then it'll be much easier..
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
Hey guys; is 2Mbps down and 1 up with ~150 ping good enough for BF3?
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
The 150 ping is rather worrying.

Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
moral of the story about bf3 multiplayer being a team player is more rewarding then a solo wolf.

It's my phone's ping. I plan on tethering it so I can play.TESLA-X4 wrote:The 150 ping is rather worrying.
My home ISP's ping is ~1.3
Seconds.
Re: General Non-Valve Video Game Screenshots
Exactly my point. Tethering would introduce additional latency since phone processors aren't that fast. But I guess you're out of options anyway. :<Gary wrote:It's my phone's ping. I plan on tethering it so I can play.

Even on servers with 70+ ping I get stuttering and my sound and models keep clipping out >:
