I found a half working model for it! Doesn't make all the sounds that it should and can only attack enemies, but I found it intresting none the less.

The hydra can relocate its bones to stretch out. Rather the concept can. The Hydra is Obsidian is just Valves code with no alterations. It has some major slowdowns when moving the model bones themselves. Very unstable and pointless npc at this point.
As a side project to test my own abuilities I have started working on a Hydra that will be open source for the public to use in their mods. But I'm still not sure if I will be able to make it work correctly yet.

Also note that I'm pretty sure I totally removed the hydra from 1.2.

It makes a great center peice during party maps when the admin doesn't give a damn.

Well its been awhile but there was this one map with small canals and a jetski. Untextured.
I remember some guy textured it on the private tub. Never released tho.

Hmm was it in the leaked HL2_WC_MAPPACK? If yes, then I could do a search for it xD....im currently texturing the cutted "Hazard Course" as well.

I can try riging the jetski by MagNet if you want. and is it me of is that cannon code a headcrab canaster launcher?and add the apc code in itsin the sdk and you can download the code by the strider mod team and it has the heli cod as well.
